Lora Larsen Program Director Lora Larsen is the Program Director of New Dawn Recovery Center’s chemical dependency programs since 2002 and serves on the Board of Director’s. She is responsible for New Dawn’s program development, structure and growth. Lora has also worked from 2002 through 2008 for the CAARR Institute as an Institute Coordinator and Institute Instructor, bringing to the students there her belief in client centered, multi-disciplinary, strength based approach to all areas of the 12 Core Functions. |

Laura Lagge, CADC II Counselor Laura has been in the field of chemical dependency since 1994 and has worked in many modalities including DUI, long-term residential, women and children and detox. She graduated from Sacramento State with a certificate in chemical dependency with other studies in sociology and criminal justice. She is New Dawn’s resident interventionist as well. |

Steve Carver, CADC II Counselor Steve Carver has been in the recovery field for eight years. He has worked as Support Staff in Residential, Staff Support in Detox, Detox Supervisor, and Detox Coordinator. He attended Breining Institute and is a qualified CADCII now counseling the clients in New Dawn’s Outpatient Program. |

Michael Abril, CAS Case Manager & Counselor Michael has been in the field of chemical dependency since 2002. He has graduated from the California Association of Addiction Recovery Resources. Michael has work in many modialities: Detox, Residential, Outpatient, WETYC, and Sacramento County Boys Ranch. |

Doreen Peters, RAS Aftercare Counselor & Intake Coordinator Doreen has been working in the field of recovery for many years. She attended ARC and is now a Registered Addiction Specialist. She has been a Substance Abuse Counselor and an Aftercare Coordinator for New Dawn Recovery Centers since 2007. She has had many different opportunities, from working with the Homeless to Aids Victims that also suffer from addiction; as well as mothers with children, and young women trying to overcome legal issues that had been caused by their addicted behavior. This work is her passion and she truly loves working at New Dawn Recovery Centers. |
