Steve Skiadas, MAC, CCJS, FACT

Clinical Care Coordinator & Case Manager for Men

Steve is certified with the National Association Of Forensic Counselors as Masters Addiction Counselor and Criminal Justice Specialist through American College and also certified through the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry in Forensic Addictions Corrections Treatment.  Steve has 15 years experience in the field of addictions providing counseling, management and clinical support with agencies in Detox, Out-Patient, Residential and State Correctional substance abuse programs. Steve currently supports New Dawn as Clinical Coordinator at the residential facility.

 

Debra Igou, CADC II

Women's Counselor

Debra Igou has been with New Dawn since July 2005.  She began as Administrative Assistant to the Program Director and was promoted to Residential Program Coordinator in 2006.  Her educational background includes an Associate in Arts Degree in Human Services, an Associate in Arts Degree in Chemical Dependency Studies, and she is pursuing a Bachelor in Arts Degree in Psychology.  She is an active member of the California Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors, National Association for Drug Abuse Counselors, and is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (CADC II) specializing in women’s recovery.  Debra is also a motivational speaker who utilizes her life experiences to instill hope in others trying to recover from the disease of addiction

Rod earned a B.A. in Behavioral Science from Fresno State University. He has worked for New Dawn for 11 years, and has worked in the field as a volunteer for 19 years. He has been with the Tulare County Alcoholism Council, Alcohol Center for Teens in Tulare and The Rite of Passage (in both California and Nevada) as well as other youth treatment facilities.

Martha Linn, LVN

Detox & Utilization Review Coordinator
Martha has been working in the nursing field for nearly 35 years. For nineteen of those years she was employed in an acute care hospital, and served with the surgical unit, the orthopedic unit, the ob/gyn unit, and the emergency trauma unit, to name a few. She works closely with our medical staff to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our detoxing patients.

Ryann has her Bachelor's of Science in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavioral
Sciences with a minor in the Physiology of Addiction and Microbiology. She attended UC Davis and graduated in 2009. She is a certified adult, child and infant CPR/First Aid/AED and Emergency Rescue instructor the American Red Cross.
