A Note About Our Program Fees
Because we are a Participating Provider with most payers, you will receive the highest benefit level of coverage thereby reducing your overall patient responsibility. Moreover, New Dawn handles all of the benefits and eligibility verifications, insurance billing and follow-up that is required in order for your stay to be covered.
For those that plan on paying for their treatment, or are using their insurance but need to know the cost of treatment once their insurance benefit is exhausted:
Private pay costs are $350 per day for Intensive Outpatient services and $650 per day for Day Treatment (PHP) (this includes all services except Psychiatric Evaluations). Extended day treatment (from 8am to 8pm) is an additional $350 per day. Psychiatric services are an additional expense. You are required to pay for their portion of the cost at the time of service.
A financial agreement will be created that will specify your financial obligations. Also, there are treatment loan options through Clark Behavioral Health so that every person who needs treatment can be sure to receive it.

Housing for our current Day Treatment (PHP) clients:
Housing is available for either short term weekly stays or long term stays.
We offer free housing in our Pacific Heights San Francisco apartment (no charge)
Low cost housing in Sausalito's Marin Suites Hotel:
- For a One Bedroom Suite: $50 per night
- For a Studio Suite: $45 per night
- For a Two Bedroom Suite: $40 per night per person (two persons/suite)
Discounts
An up-front payment for 60 days or more will qualify for a 15% discount.
NOTE: If a patient discharges early for any reason other than medical necessity, any discounts will be null and void.
