Intensive Outpatient

New Dawn Eating Disorders Recovery Centers offers Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Treatment services for those suffering from anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, or binge eating disorder requiring an increased level of support. IOP treatment clients participate in an intensive treatment program 3 hours a day, Monday through Thursday or Friday.  The program is designed for those who require more structure and support then a typical outpatient program or for individuals who may be transitioning from our Day Treatment Program or a residential treatment program. The IOP provides comprehensive treatment while allowing the clients to retain autonomy in their normal day-to-day activities.

Medical Treatment

 

While in the Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program, you will continue to be treated by your primary care physician. You will be monitored while in the program by our Registered Nurse. The nurse will interact with your physician to ensure that you are receiving appropriate medical supervision.
